The present report and presentation provide a safety analysis of BSO Buses (predecessor of notorious Stint) in the Netherlands.
Initially, the system is defined having into account the safety cube method. Then, the safety definitions are mentioned. Here, the current rules and regulations of BSO Buses are discussed. Some accidents and incidents involving both the Stint and the BSO Buses are also mentioned and explained
In addition, the most relevant hazards of BSO Buses are identified. The ones with higher risks are further investigated. Recommendations and suggestions are provided to try to mitigate such hazards, by decreasing the probability of its occurrence.
Finally, a conclusion is given to try to improve the safety of BSO Buses in the Netherlands.
